Tomomi plays with Japanese sensation, SCANDAL. This signature bass for Tomomi is one of our favourite basses from Fender Japan. Delivering unique looks whilst delivering superb quality playability and tone.
The Alder body is finished a beautiful translucent "Fiesta Red", a colour unique to this bass. The finish allows the beautiful Alder wood grain to be seen beneath. A mint green pickguard and classic cream-colored pickup covers are a knod to the very early Jazz basses from the early 60's
Loaded with dual concentric pots, these stacked knobs gives it a unique tonal flexibility as you can adjust individual tone for each pickup as well as individual volume. A feature that Fender used on Jazz basses in 1960-61. A 5 bolt neck plate and contoured heal provide easier access to the upper frets whilst also making a rocksolid connection between the neck and body
The Alder body and vintage-style bridge deliver classic warm Jazz bass tones, Pure Vintage '64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass® pickups output a thick, chewy classic tones, whilst the slim "C" shaped neck with a 9.5inch radius provides a familiar feel but with modern playability.
