Dingwall Nickel Plated Steel long-scale strings are finally here. We’ve worked on these strings for almost a decade. They are custom wound specifically for multiscale basses that are 37" plus on the B string. The gauges and lengths have each been fine-tuned to give the ultimate in balanced feel, tone and long life.

Compared to our Long Scale Stainless strings the Nickels have a smoother tone and feel and a slightly higher tension on the E and B-strings.

These are the best strings available for your Dingwall Combustion, Afterburner series, Z-series or Prima Artist bass. Will also work on Ibanez BTB Multiscale basses and anything utilising 37" plus scale for the B string
